What Are Cookies

Cookies We Use
Essential Cookies
Required for the website to function properly. These cannot be disabled and no consent is needed for them. They include session cookies (which expire when you close your browser) and preference cookies that remember your choices (typically up to 12 months).
Analytics Cookies (optional)
With your consent, we use PostHog (EU region) to understand how visitors use our website — page views, general navigation and site performance. These are off by default and only load after you choose “Accept all”; PostHog cookies typically last up to 12 months. You can change your mind at any time from the Cookie preferences link in the footer. We also use Vercel’s cookieless performance analytics (aggregated, sets no cookies and does no cross-site tracking) to monitor speed and reliability.
Social Media Cookies
Our Instagram feed embed may set cookies. These are controlled by Instagram/Meta and are subject to their privacy policy.
Private client galleries
When you open a private gallery link we send you, we store a small amount of data on your device (browser local storage — not third-party cookies) so the gallery works: a random gallery ID, the photos you’ve liked, and your name if you leave a comment. With your consent we also record anonymous engagement (which photos are viewed) to understand how the gallery is enjoyed — you can decline this from the banner on your first visit or the “Cookie preferences” link in the gallery footer. There are no advertising or third-party trackingcookies on the galleries. See our privacy policy for what we collect and how long we keep it.
Managing Cookies
The easiest way to change your choice is the Cookie preferences link in the footer of any page (or the banner on your first visit) — it lets you accept or withdraw optional analytics at any time, as easily as you gave consent. In a private gallery, use the “Cookie preferences” link in the gallery footer.
You can also control and delete cookies through your browser settings. Note that disabling certain cookies may affect website functionality.
Most browsers allow you to:
- View what cookies are stored and delete them individually
- Block third-party cookies
- Block all cookies from specific sites
- Delete all cookies when you close your browser
